Woot! Arsenal and Chelsea is coming to Malaysia (arguably annually) for a football match against the Malaysia XI team as part of their Asia Tour 2011. Once again, this nation is infected with football! This is definitely the time to watch your favorite EPL team going against our beloved Harimau Malaya before we set foot against Singapore on 26th July 2011 for the World Cup Qualifier.

I have been watching Game of Thrones - an HBO mini series adapted from George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire.
A lot of people commended on its tale of politics and intrigue. I believe that politics is for the very young and the very old. As neither a young man nor an old one, I am neither idealistic enough nor wise enough to enter the fray.
I remember in my younger days, I planned an animated TV series about Melaka in the medieval times filled with political intrigue. It was based mostly on Raja Wira - a translated HK comic nobody remembers.
The breakdown has been sitting in my computer for over 12 years. I have shopped it around but no one is interested. So far. Maybe when I am 50 or 70, I will get to make something of it.
Oh well. I have enough stories to keep me occupied from now till then. Cheers!

South Korea's KTB Investment & Securities has released a video of some girls (presumably the firm's female employees) doing some simple "aerobic exercises"…
Reminded me of my old Japanese employer, where staff would get together in the morning to do some stretching exercises. We didn't have much girls (95% male) in our department though, unfortunately… else I might have stayed there a bit longer ;)
Group exercise is a common corporate culture in Japan (and Korea to a lesser degree). Besides whatever benefit it brings, missing an exercise session – usually the first thing in the morning – literally means that someone is late for work, it's serious matter.

Maybe it is a dream
Of darkness dwells in the mind
Of life experiences hidden in closet
Wishing it never happens
Into its depth one falls
Screaming loudly without noise
As the darkness engulfs the soul
Floating in mid-air feeling the under-current
Alone in the dark
The fear will take its own
For darkness brings
The whispering echo
As one struggles to get out
The hard breathing wanting to live
It makes all the difference
As the light shines on it

P/s : Luahan perasaan ! Ni sekarang tengah tak boleh call or sms orang sebab air time dah expired, padahal duit topup masih berlambak bakinya. geram !

Our Malaysian PM's official residence in Putrajaya would be seen as opulent and ostentatious in comparison to this glorified terrace house! We can tell who is more professional and cost conscious as Prime Minister.
According to Wikipedia:
10 Downing Street, colloquially known in the United Kingdom as "Number 10", is the headquarters of Her Majesty's Government and the official residence and office of the First Lord of the Treasury, who is now always the Prime Minister.
Situated on Downing Street in the City of Westminster, Number 10 is one of the most famous addresses in the United Kingdom and the world. Almost three hundred years old, the building contains about one hundred rooms. There is a private residence on the third floor and a kitchen in the basement. The other floors contain offices and numerous conference, reception, sitting and dining rooms where the Prime Minister works, and where government ministers, national leaders and foreign dignitaries are met and entertained. There is an interior courtyard and, in the back, a terrace overlooking a garden of 0.5 acres (2,000 m2). Adjacent to St. James's Park, Number 10 is near the Palace of Westminster, the Houses of Parliament, and Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of the British Monarch.

Do you remember the game that I posted two days ago asking you to pick the cookie that looks the tastiest to you? Well, do you still remember your choice? For accuracy, just go to the cookie that you picked and read the description first before you read the others. Ready? Here we go...
You have WISDOMYou make others feel at ease immediately. You understand where each person is coming from.
You value independence and the freedom to do what you want. You refuse to be told what to do.
You are more intellectual than people realize. You don't go out of your way to flaunt your depth.
You are simply optimistic. You think there is a lot more good in this world than bad.
You have COURAGEYou just go for it in life. You have the courage to act boldly.
You are playful and carefree. You take a lighthearted approach to all aspects of your life.
You're curious about the world, and just reading about it won't satisfy you. You want to get out there and experience it all.
You are easily bored if you don't satisfy your wanderlust. You never want to feel like you're sitting still in your life.
You have MOXIE
Even when you're in a bad mood, people find you friendly. You put on a brave face.
You do and say whatever you feel like. People are sometimes shocked by your outrageous behavior.
If someone plays hard to get with you, it makes you all the more interested. You love a challenge.
You are freedom-loving first and foremost. You value your independence.
You have DEPTHYou are the ultimate escapist. If you can't escape physically, you escape with your thoughts.
You love the idea of travel and faraway lands. If you could, you would travel constantly and see the world.
While you are a bit on the quiet side, you're a great partner. You are supportive, devoted, and loyal.
More than any other type, you honestly still believe in true love. You hold on to your ideals.
So, what do you think of the description on the cookie you chose?

JFK has been a private pilot for almost 10 years
Radio announcer and pilot mashed into one person?
Just the other day i took the wrong turning cos a BIG PRETTY LEAF floated in front of my car and i was fawning over it thinking
So i can just see how i'll be flying a plane:
ooh! cloud! looks like a… a chinese warrior walking a bunny rabbit!
ANYWAY I DIGRESSED!
Besides flying big commercial planes,
I invited Jess along for the ride and we met JFK at Subang airport
Jess all excited and ready to go! As always.
I brought Maurice along for the ride too!
JFK let me steer the plane for 5-10 minutes!
Going past KLCC!
I pestered JFK to do a loop,
View was breathtaking.
me, Jess, JFK
Batu Caves. I didn't know Batu Caves jutted out like that, did you?
The Curve / IKEA
The flight seemed to end way too soon…
This is how you park a Sesna, with brute strength.
Jess and i
Check out this cool vid Jess made of our flight that day!
Thanks for the flight JFK!
I think taking a short flight up is a perfect way to show some visitors in KL around!

Fuhh...jerit jerit sekarang jerit...sila lepas tension sekarang !! Huaaa...saya dah puas menjerit macam orang gila dalam kereta masa balik dari temuduga Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Pelajaran pagi tadi. Lega betul menjerit lepas terkaku-gigil-sentap masa temuduga tadi. Jom saya ceritakan sikit pasal temuduga tadi...
debaran temuduga SPP huahaha...
Alamat : Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Pelajaran (SPP)
Kompleks Jabatan Perdana Menteri Level 1, 62526 Putrajaya 03-8871 7300 () spp.gov.my
Kringgg ! Loceng bunyi : Nurul Aina, Afiq, Alia, Razimah, dan Nairul sila masuk Bilik No. 2. Pergh...group pertama masuk interview tuh !
Dato : "Semua salah. jawapannya Guru Yang Boleh Mengajar"
Dato : "Terdapat 5 Teori Pembelajaran iaitu Konstruktivisme, Masteri, Belajar Cara Belajar, Akses Kendiri, Kecerdasan Pelbagai. Ha...pilih sorang satu dan terangkan apa maksud dan berikan contoh"
Kami : Gulp...telan air liur...ahh sudah, teori pulak !
Saya : mampus...satu haprak pun aku tak tau...
Kami pun saling bisik membisik.
Dato : Woi, ni peperiksaan ni, mana boleh bisik bisik ! (muka ketat)
Mampus...sampai time saya...saya pun selamber belasah jela...apa yang terlintas kat kepala otak, jawab je la. Memang saya tak berkenan betul semua benda teori ni.
Muka-muka lega selepas habis temuduga SPP =)
Gambar ni entah nak senyum ke, nak jerit ke, nak memerut ke, hahaha...oklah, sebenarnya kepala otak saya ni tengah sengal sebab tamparan daripada sesi temuduga tadi.. Dah lama tak rasa cuak macam ni. Hahaha...lepas satu azab. Lepas ni nak tunggu panggilan untuk KISSM pulak ! Hayya....sapa dah pergi KISSM ? Leh kongsi idea...
P/s : Hampir sejam pusing putrajaya tadi cari jalan balik...aduhaii fail betul ! Konon nak ikut jalan lain masa balik...alih alih berpusing pusing saya dalam putrajaya cyberjaya tadi. Merry Go Round !

... I just uploaded my Skype credit and was trying to call Malaysia using Skype on my android. Works perfectly, even Mum who often complains on Skype's quality approved of it. Great news because with my new phone contract, it is exorbitant to call from the local phone provider. Now all I need is to find free wireless internet and call you guys via Skype. :D
Some short updates. It has really been hectic over here, mainly with traveling, e.g. Paris-Toulouse last week, Berlin yesterday and today, Geneva-Lausanne tomorrow. The first two were work-related, my Switzerland trip is leisure (finally!). I am visiting my Slovene friend for almost a week, bringing along some work with me to work from her flat which has the view of the Alps (apparently one of the mountains visible is the famous Mont Blanc). Not too bad huh. ;-)

KUALA LUMPUR, July 15 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd's (MAHB) decision not to install aerobridges at the new Low Cost Carrier Terminal, or KLIA 2, will save the company up to RM104 million.
Its chairman Tan Sri Aris Othman said the amount was for 80 aerobridges, costing RM1.3 million each.
Speaking to Bernama after attending the company's assistant aviation security officers' graduation parade here today, he said, although aerobridges could provide convenience, it would be a waste if airlines would not use it.
Yesterday, MAHB announced that it would not install aerobridges at KLIA 2 in line with AirAsia's requirement and business model.
If there were other airlines wanting to use aerobridges, he said, they could use the facility at the main terminal.
At the ceremony, 454 assistant aviation security trainees ended their six- month training. There are now a total of 3,100 aviation security personnel nationwide, including the newly-graduated officers.
The RM2 billion KLIA 2 is expected to be completed in the second half of this year with an annual capacity 30 million passengers.
tunku: all the airlines should use the aerobridge.it's very convenience to use one come rain or shine.the passengers do not mind to pay extra to use it.mahb should provide the aerobridges and make it compulsory for all airlines to use it with a minimum fee.

A SERIES of world-famous saucy seaside postcards images is being relaunched today to mark their 100th anniversary.
Businessman Ian Wallace said he is hoping the classic cheeky cartoons, which could soon be appearing on everything from mouse mats to boxer shorts, will give everyone a light-hearted boost in times of economic gloom.
Mr Wallace, aged 63, bought the firm Bamforth & Co nine years ago and now owns the rights to more than 50,000 of the postcard images with their pneumatic women, henpecked husbands and voluptuous nurses.
In 1870 James Bamforth began his business in Holmfirth, near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire - a village now most famous for being the setting of the long running BBC comedy Last Of The Summer Wine.
He was a portrait photographer who later specialised in lantern slides. But it was the saucy postcards, launched in 1910, which sealed his firm`s reputation.
Mr Wallace said: "They always look good and they always make people smile.
"Maybe they`re not to everyone's taste but if you can`t laugh at Bamforth postcards what can you laugh at?
"They are classic images which have really stood the test of time."

Kalau dia betul betul boring je baru dia main...kalau nak dibandingkan dengan hamster, hamster lagi teror lari dalam roda ni berbanding sugar glider tau...mungkin kepakaran sugar glider lebih tertumpu pada lompat melompat, bukannya berlari. Layan gambar je ok !

time untuk tidur bersama tuannya...ngeh ngeh

Rather quiet Saturday afternoon, roads were exceptionally empty, and because we were too afraid to roam around the streets of KL. I hear stories of bad traffic jams everywhere around the city centre, and the bestie's brother mentioned that he took 2 hours to get from Kota Kemuning to Tropicana scared me. I had to fetch le sister to the airport the next day.
Every single tweet on my dash were about the #bersih rally. I'm proud of you Malaysians, for standing up for yourself, for us, and everyone of us. Me not talking about anything, it doesn't mean I don't care about my country. I did contemplated in leaving Malaysia for good and get a PR in Australia, but I did not. I chose to stay, and you've proven me that my choice was wise, and we are here to make a difference.
And because of all the brave soldiers out there, there may be a better tomorrow, for at least we have the choice to voice out what we want. Freedom of speech, no matter how you try to hide or avoid, the truth is out there (like x files leh hahaha) and you can always run but you can never hide the truth.
Because today, is not about caring less just so you can be happier, it is about how the world view us Malaysians as, some may think we're so uncivilised that all this havoc is happening but to me, this is something phenomenal, we Malaysians stand up for what we deserve. Equality.
And a big thank you to those who went for the rally to fight for what we deserve, and to those stuck in traffic jams, don't put the blame on anyone who ask you itchy backside go kai kai when others go for rally hahahaha

This time round Readings has the opportunity to be part of Urbanscapes, the Klang Valley's annual festival of arts and culture. Zulhabri who is organising the Frinjian Book Bazaar contacted me a few days ago to ask if I could get something together in time. Thanks to those writers who volunteered: we have a good lineup of both writers who are in the Readings From Readings book (because, y'know, I'm hoping to shift a few copies!), and writers who are new to us!
We follow a great bunch of performance poets from Poetry Cafe who take the stage at 5. We are up at 6-7.30 pm and our readers are :
Tutu Dutta Yean
I'm really looking forward to it!
All the info you need is here and here.

Aku selalu jugak tengok/dengar orang mengeluh. Di Twitter. Di Facebook. Di blog. Di dunia bukan maya. Mana-mana saja ada aje orang yang mengeluh. Mengeluh pendek, mengeluh panjang, mengeluh sekerat... macam-macam ada. Aku pun ada juga mengeluh. Kalau benda tak terjadi ikut perkiraan aku, aku mengeluh.
Aku mahu hidup tanpa perlu adanya keluhan. Biar sedikit, biar kurang, biar sakit, aku tak mahu mengeluh. Aku cuma nak teruskan hidup dengan lapang dada. Susah memanglah susah, tapi bukan mustahil pun. Jangan sampai aku berpepatah pulak.
Mahu aku berlari
Berlari sejauh yang mungkin
Berlari dari realiti
Berlari dari masa lampau
Berlari dari masa kini
Berlari dari diri aku sendiri
Kiranya itu, bukan satu percaturan yang bijak
Di atas treadmill pun jadilah

And when Im gone, just carry on. Dont mourn. Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice. Just know that Im looking down on you smiling and I didnt feel a thing. So baby dont feel no pain. Just smile back...
Apa korang rasa .. ?
P/s : jaga diri semua, much love dari saya, neo.
